Cordil, one of the most progressive main contractors in Ireland, has selected market leading COINS to support their business growth. _________________________________________________________________________________________ Cordil Construction currently has an average annual turnover in excess of €30m and has already secured a significant pipeline of work for 2010, including four Schools projects, several Healthcare projects and a number of publically-funded Arts / Theatre projects. In addition, Cordil have been selected to construct the shell & core of a new Shopping Centre in the heart of Oranmore, County Galway, which will be anchored by Tesco. Securing these projects under intense nationwide competition is further evidence of Cordil's growing reputation as one of the most progressive Main Contractors throughout Ireland and they continue to invest in people and systems that will help them to successfully compete for the opportunities that exist within the Construction Industry. They have recently taken the decision to invest in a new business system to support this business expansion and early this year will be going live with Financials, Payroll, Human Resources, Plant and Procurement from COINS. These opportunities are not restricted to the Irish market and consequently, Cordil have started to focus their sights further afield with the recent opening of a US-office in Atlanta and a current tender to Design & Build almost 2,000 residential units in Kenya. They view geographical expansion as the key to survival in these tough economic times and very much see COINS as part of this business strategy. ‘A key factor in our decision to select COINS was their established client base in Ireland and that they have local staff for implementation’ states Tom O’Callaghan, Finance Director at Cordil Construction. Roger Vaux, COINS Business Development Manger commented ‘Cordil Construction, with a Head-office in Galway and Regional office in Sligo, have become our first COINS client in the West of Ireland and the 20th in Ireland overall. We now can proudly say COINS have clients throughout Ireland, across all four provinces: Leinster, Munster, Ulster and Connaught. We are delighted to be working with such a progressive and successful organisation.’ |
