There are two COINS feeds available: What is RSS? RSS is a way to get up-to-date information, such as news articles, that is published by different web sites and display it in a single place. This means that you do not have to visit each individual website to see if new information is available. There are various explanations for what the initials RSS stand for, but the most common is Really Simple Syndication. Each information source is known as a channel or a feed. How to get COINS RSS feeds There are various ways you can receive these feeds: To subscribe to the News and Events feed, paste the following URL into your news reader or other software:
| | http://www.coins-global.com/cp_root/COINS_news_and_events.xml |
(how and where you do this depends on the software). To subscribe to Important Notices, click here. What does it cost? It's free. Although we talk about "subscribing", all you are really doing is telling your browser, news reader or other software that you want to receive the feed. If you want to receive the same feed using different software applications (for example if you want to display it in COINS and view it in Outlook), you need to follow the "subscribe" process for each software application. |
