The COINS Group company Pervasic currently has a vacancy for a Systems Analyst Developer to join the team at their office in Farringdon, London EC1. Pervasic is one of the leading providers in data solutions for mobile workforces in the field service, housing maintenance, facilities management and transportation sectors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing SUP (Sybase Unwired Platform) as Pervasic’s next generation MobileOne Platform. Core duties include analysing the existing system and being involved in the development and implementation of new or modified systems from proposal through to documentation and training.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience and knowledge of multiple programming languages and operating systems, application development for Java, Android and Windows Mobile, and SQL databases. They will also be flexible, with the ability to plan ahead and work to deadlines.

Duties:

·         Analyse existing system and write up specific proposals for modified or replacement systems

·         Implement modified and/or replacement system for evaluation

·         Develop evaluation applications for Android and iPhone

·         Provide training on new platform to developers and support team

·         Oversee the implementation of a new system

·         Work closely with other developers

·         Write documentation and user manuals

Qualifications:

·         Good academic background to at least degree level

·         Experience in multiple programming languages and operating systems

·         Experience in Java, Android development

·         Experience in Objective-C, iOS development

·         Experience with SQL databases

·         Ability to plan and work flexibly to deadlines

·         Ideally some experience developing software for Windows mobile

·         HTML 5
