COINS have signed an agreement allowing them to embed and freely distribute a new generation of presentation graphics within the COINS Designer product. The eye-catching animated charts use Macromedia Flash (SWF) files which do not require any Active-X or external components and therefore can be deployed simply.

The charts enable information directly from COINS to be displayed within a browser ‘on-line and in real time’ and are completely scalable and flexible, creating stunning animated graphics that are also interactive.  Users can simply click on an element of a chart to dig deeper into the underlying data automatically filtered to the relevant records.  This allows charts to be used as a user-friendly front-end access point to any information in the COINS database.

The new charts will be available as a standard element of COINS Designer from the next release, and allow the user to present information through an array of gauges and instrumentation controls, and also 2D & 3D line, pie, cylinder, column, pyramid and doughnut charts and graphs.
