Autodesk has completed its rigorous validation procedures and has approved COINS Dallas as an Authorised Training Centre (ATC) and Autodesk Certification Centre (ACC). So what does this mean for COINS Dallas’ clients? There are three key deliverables guaranteed to attendees by the ATC/ACC stamp of approval. Firstly, Quality. ATC managers and instructors are given a great deal of support from Autodesk to ensure that the training experience exceeds client expectations. The COINS instructors have benefited enormously from this and have been able to pass this on to their trainees. Facilities are also at the highest standards so attendees enjoy a comfortable classroom setting with a dedicated workstation. Secondly, Class Organisation. The training classes are structured to allow trainees to progress through the Autodesk solution range. Starting with the Essentials class for new users, they can move on to the Transition classes where they learn how to apply their skills across a wide range of Autodesk products. Master classes focus on the advanced skills and topics required to improve productivity and effectiveness and the final Solution classes apply a process-based approach. These classes build on the users’ industry knowledge and present strategies for tackling real life projects. Often, these classes employ case studies and real-world exercises that reflect daily activities. The third element Certification provides transferable qualifications to last throughout a user’s career. Kim Gaytan, AEC Technical Specialist, Joe Soliz, AEC/BIM Technical Specialist, Bryant Quinney, ISD/ GEO Technical Specialist and Eddie Johnson, ISD Technical Specialist, (aka ‘the instructors’) are delighted with the results to date and take great satisfaction in seeing their trainees turn into experienced and respected users within their own companies. |
