COINS Information Manager (CIM) is an electronic document management system that is integrated into the COINS suite of solutions.  It enables COINS users to easily, and in some cases automatically, access related documents to data that they are currently viewing in a COINS module session.

Key business and functional processes supported:

• Automated management of electronic invoices (XML).
• Scanning of individual paper invoices and other document types.
• Creation of data structure on server to allow for contract security on viewed data.
• Distributed access to documentation within the business.
• View all documents with security – all data in CIM is encrypted and compressed.
• Integration with COINS.
• Indexing to COINS including:
  • Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Subcontractor and Plant invoices.
  • Goods Received Notes.
  • Fixed Assets, Trigger and Customer Care documents.
