  Welcome New Customers

COINS-etc is delighted to welcome new customers May Gurney and Connaught this quarter to the trading community.

May Gurney will be taking advantage of the new COINS-etc electronic remittance advice service.  This facility will quite simply allow May Gurney to send pdf remittances automatically via email to its entire supply chain of 3200 suppliers.  May Gurney expects to achieve financial savings in the form of reduced costs associated with the printing and distribution of paper remittances, reduction in supplier payment queries and associated costs. The solution also offers May Gurney a secure, faster, alternative to postal delivery and will therefore improve supplier relationships through improved processes, clearer communication, and continuity of service.

May Gurney will be the first client to go live with the COINS-etc remittance advice solution at the end of July.

May Gurney is a dynamic, integrated support and construction services company providing maintenance and enhancement services to the highways, rail, utilities and general infrastructure markets, primarily with public sector and regulated sector customers, across the UK. The company focuses on long-term relationships, has 3,450 employees and delivers solutions through two primary business segments - Maintenance Services and Engineering & Project Services.

Connaught is in the process of implementing COINS-etc electronic invoicing and has also invested in the new COINS eCatalogue Centre with a view to integrating with Wolseley, one of its major suppliers.  The COINS eCatalogue Centre represents an exciting opportunity for Connaught as it will for the first time have accurate product information available 24 x 7.  The company expects to spend far less time searching catalogues and raising orders and that the orders will be more accurate as well as be delivered in real time.

This will also be the first time Wolseley will use the Catalogue Center to trade with a COINS customer.

Since 1982, Connaught has been providing property related services. It provides planned capital programmes, reactive maintenance, estate management and gas servicing for the social housing sector. It also provides gas installation and maintenance, electrical, fire and water services to clients in the private sector. Partnerships with local authorities and registered social landlords, plus long-term contracts with SMEs form the basis of the Group’s activity. Its sustained growth over the last 24 years is a result of long-standing customer relationships, an enviable track record of delivering value through innovation, and a commitment to developing highly motivated people.
