COINS Information Manager (CIM) supports key business and functional processes by providing document management and control that are integrated into the COINS suite of solutions. CIM makes it simple to scan, route, and add notes to documents for key business and functional processes.

CIM employs a data structure on the server for securely storing and viewing documents. All data in CIM is encrypted and compressed. Other key features include:

• Scanning of individual paper invoices, insurance certificates, packing slips, contracts, and other document types.
• Creation of data structure on server to allow for contract security on viewed data.
• Distributed access to documentation within the business.
• Seamless integration with COINS.
• Automated indexing to COINS.

CIM enables you to easily, and in some cases automatically, access documents related to the data that you are currently viewing in a COINS session.
