The COINS Equipment Management Module is designed to handle all aspects of construction equipment management: charge equipment to jobs, bill for equipment use, track costs, schedule maintenance and repairs, maximize equipment profitability, and more. Equipment is charged to jobs or work orders using equipment time cards that are entered manually, generated automatically, or created while entering payroll time cards. A large, flexible assortment of equipment charge rates means that construction bills can include detailed, accurate charges for equipment used for a job. Using COINS Equipment Management, you can track detailed costs for equipment, components, and subcomponents: direct costs (such as fuel, repairs, and maintenance) plus allocated indirect costs. You can monitor costs and charges for better determination of rates and greater profitability. COINS Equipment Management helps you track equipment and components by location and person responsible. With its Transfer Wizard, you can update locations for many pieces of equipment at one time. If equipment goes missing, the detailed tracking history shows its last location and documents the chain of possession. The Equipment Management Module also helps with personal vehicle reporting. It provides the COINS Payroll module with the information required by the Federal government regarding the personal use of company vehicles. |
