Mobile Technician extends key features of the COINS Service Management Module to field service technicians. Mobile Technician makes use of affordable mobile devices and reliable technology to send information to field technicians and capture information from them during the call, which it sends back to COINS for back office processing. 

Mobile Technician completely replaces paper and pen for creating service reports and time sheets. Field technicians use Mobile Technician on a mobile device to get visits as they are scheduled in the Call Management System (CMS). For preventive maintenance calls, Mobile Technician gives the technician a list of the covered equipment and the tasking details for each. As they work, the technicians record labor, parts, and other information. Mobile Technician lets you:

  • Eliminate rekeying data from handwritten service reports.
  • Email the signed service report to the customer as soon as the work is completed.
  • Track technicians in real time for more effective dispatching and increased productivity.
  • Maximize sales opportunities for additional work.
  • Prepare invoices more quickly.

COINS Service Management and CMS include a workflow system that electronically routes information from Mobile Technician. This results in more accurate payroll, billings, contract history, and equipment history, with no redundant data entry.
