Ertech Chooses COINS to Manage Entire Business

Civil and electrical contractor, Ertech, has chosen COINS as the core software system to manage its business across Australia.
Ertech CEO, James Giumelli, said the company was looking for an ERP system to meet current business needs and that site operational managers could confidently rely on.
“After working on the Northern Road joint venture in Western Sydney with Georgiou, who use COINS, we could see firsthand how the COINS reports enabled efficient reviews of project performance,” Mr Giumelli said.
“With our current systems it is challenging and time-consuming to get a reliable snapshot of our projects’ financial positions as we’re relying on several systems and spreadsheets that don’t easily ‘talk’ to each other.
“The benefits of an integrated system, specifically designed for civil contractors, to manage our business operations and provide real time data became very clear.”
COINS Australia Managing Director, Jim Farrer, said COINS understands the complexities of construction and what companies need from their core system, not just for commercial managers and executives, but for operational managers working on site.
“In the current economic climate, construction companies are being forced to take a hard look at the return on investment of technology. It’s becoming more widely acknowledged that operating a business through disparate, spreadsheet-based systems isn’t productive or providing value for money,” Mr Farrer said.
Ertech is an Australian-owned diversified construction company providing civil, electrical, geotechnical, and near-shore marine construction services to public and private sector clients throughout Australia.
COINS works with some of Australia’s top construction companies to manage entire business operations with one software system.
