ISO 27001 Certification: COINS aligns with information security best practices

At COINS, one of our foremost priorities is to protect all types of information and data provided by our stakeholders, including clients, employees, partners, government and suppliers. Therefore, we are proud to announce that we have achieved ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management Systems certification.
ISO 27001 is one of the most internationally accepted and widely recognised information security standards. It was developed to provide organisations with a framework for establishing processes for implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing and improving an Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Achieving ISO 27001 confirms our ISMS is aligned with international information security best practices and we have the right processes and procedures in place to handle a wide range of information assets. It demonstrates that COINS places a priority on client data protection through implemented controls including security-by-design product development, data encryption, vulnerability management, business continuity, disaster recovery plans and much more.
To achieve the certification, COINS compliance was validated through a third-party audit by BSI Group, one of the most respected and reputable management systems certification bodies in the world. As part of the audit, COINS had to meet rigorous assessment criteria and demonstrate it has a systematic and ongoing approach to mitigating information security risks that affect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company and customer data and that guarantees stringent data governance.
COINS is committed to constantly look for ways in which it can improve its products and services to its customers, and this is another great milestone on that journey. With an ever-increasing number of threats, system and information security have never been more important. ISO 27001 demonstrates the priority we place on the safeguarding of customer data and our continued focus on meeting and exceeding industry best practice.
