We have to move from a position of minimising damage to generating and creating positive inputs to the built environment that are not only carbon free in themselves but actively remove it. We are so delighted that three of this year's finalists have agreed to present the ideas which were shortlisted for the 2021 COINS Grand Challenge. This global competition aims to inspire innovative ideas that could improve either the built environment or construction industry. Find out more about insulation grown from fungi, a SMART device that will monitor live loads on formwork during concrete pouring and a universal hands-free vacuum attachment to make drilling holes safer, in this inspiring session led by COINS CEO Robert Brown.
