YTL Land & Property UK selects COINS construction software.
YTL Land & Property UK has selected COINS construction ERP to provide the foundations for establishing itself as a major player in the UK housing and development market.
Located in Bath, YTL Land & Property UK is a new land and development company. It is part of the Malaysia based YTL Group that already has significant investments in the UK, including Wessex Water.
Within Asia, YTL undertakes major land and property developments in both residential and commercial sectors. The company has a proven track record of developing new communities in Asia and is keen to bring this experience to the UK. YTL recently acquired Filton airfield near Bristol – the site totals 142 hectares with plans to develop 2,600 homes and commercial space.
To facilitate YTL Land & Property UK’s significant plan for growth, the business has recruited a number of senior personnel to the management team including Paul Cooper as managing director. Paul has more than 28 years’ experience in the residential and development industry, most recently as divisional managing director of Linden Homes.
Paul said: ”This is a very exciting time to be part of YTL. We are fully focused on establishing the business as a major brand in the UK housing market. As part of this we need to implement software that will support the business throughout this journey.
“COINS is the market leading construction software solution for UK home builders and is successfully used by many companies operating in this sector. As part of our selection process we visited a couple of existing COINS clients who were both very positive about the construction software and the COINS business.
“COINS is an off the shelf package which will allow us to focus on what we do best rather than re-invent the wheel.”
YTL Land & Property UK will implement COINS construction ERP covering Land Appraisal, Procurement, Sub-Contract Valuations and Payments, Construction Programme, CVR, Financials, Prospect Management, House Sales, Customer Care and mobile applications.
