Lord Lieutenant's Visit

Her Majesty The Queen’s representative, the Lord Lieutenant for the Royal County of Berkshire visited Construction Industry Solutions Ltd (COINS) head office in Slough to present the directors and staff with the Queen's Award for Enterprise for International Trade.

The award was formally conferred by a Grant of Appointment and symbolized by the presentation of a crystal bowl carrying the Queen's Award for Enterprise emblem.

Construction Industry Solutions (COINS) is the first UK construction software company to be given this award in recognition of their substantial growth in overseas earnings and commercial success in the construction sector.

At the presentation to COINS staff and directors, The Lord Lieutenant, the Hon Mrs. Bayliss said, “COINS has had an astonishing rise in its development and this recognition for your achievements is wonderful for not only the COINS employees, but for the Royal County of Berkshire. The Queen's Award is a much desired accolade and you should all be extremely proud of your accomplishments.”

The Lord Lieutenant's Cadet, Flight Sergeant Daniel Honey read out the Grant of Appointment, which allows COINS to fly the Queen's Award flag and use the emblem for a period of five years. The Grant was accepted on behalf of COINS by CEO Emerging Markets, Nigel Cope, and Technical Director, Tim Armitage received the crystal bowl.
